Vodafone, the world's leading international mobile communications group, has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the leaders quadrant in the ‘Magic Quadrant for Pan-Western European Mobile Service Providers’* report.
According to the 2009 Pan-Western European Mobile Service Providers Magic Quadrant report, "There are two main aspects to enterprises' interest in mobile services. Their main concern at present is to cut the cost of basic services such as voice telephony, messaging and data connectivity. "We are pleased that Gartner has recognised the strength of Vodafone’s offer to Multi-National Corporate customers" said Nick Jeffery, Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Global Enterprise. “International companies benefit from both our fixed and mobile products and services. We help put them back in control of their costs and simplify their operations across a large geographic footprint. ”
The report defines "leaders" as "mobile service providers that provide mature offerings while demonstrating the vision needed to sustain a leading position in the market as requirements change. They invest in and focus on their offerings and service experience in a way that can affect the market's direction."
